June Announcements!

Greetings, greetings! Now that we’re moving into the puppy days of summer, I thought we’d mix this up a bit. Now we’re going to have themed days on days of the week that uh, sound the cutest with the themes I came up with. By the way, the days of the week start with letters that are really hard to come up with alliterative writing-related terms for. Or is it just me? Maybe you have better names. I bet you do, you great writers you.

Anyway, presenting:

Mondays: Situations and premises. These prompts might feature first lines, sentences to finish, or just ideas to ponder. These new ideas will keep you unblocked for the week ahead!
Tuesdays: Dealer’s choice! Maybe it’ll be an object, maybe it’ll be a stylistic challenge, a journal or memoir-type prompt, or something different altogether!
“Who dis” Wednesday? If your heroes are getting humdrum and your villains vacuous, you’ll love Wednesdays, when we refresh your stable of people to write about with character-driven prompts.
Thursdays: Dealer’s choice! And Guest Posts! See “Tuesdays.”
Photo Fridays: Out of words for the week? Write from a visual prompt!
Setting Saturdays: Your characters need somewhere to do all these things. Maybe what they do has to do with where or when they are. Find out every Saturday!
Say it Sundays: Dialogue can be tricky. Every Sunday, we’ll present a quote featuring one or more voices, pulled from the finest and most fertile imaginations (or overheard public spaces) out there.
